COPYRIGHT INFORMATION

All rights reserved on all drawings, photos, rendering illustration, material list, floor plans, elevations etc. sold through UrbanHousePlans.com.

The right of reproduction in whole or in part in any form is strictly prohibited. The right to build is granted exclusively to the original purchaser only to build that plan at its one time location. Plans may not be resold. The plans sold through UrbanHousePlans.com site are protected under national and international copyright laws. It is unlawful to make copies of any pages of this web site or to create any working drawings that are identical or similar in any way to the home plans of UrbanHousePlans.com or any other publications of our home plans. Only the original purchaser of the plan set is licensed to construct one home and only one from the purchased plans. Any reproduction, modification or re-use of the home plans without prior written consent of UrbanHousePlans.com or its associates is strictly prohibited. Dissemination or republication of UrbanHousePlans.com content is expressly prohibited without a written permission of UrbanHousePlans.com. Plans may not be resold; only one structure may be built from each set of plans. Modified plans are considered derivative work of the original and as the original work still retain copyright protection. Removing a copyright notice, the proprietary marking and the watermarks UrbanHousePlans.com contained on our designs is strictly prohibited. It is often mistakenly assumed that making a few changes to a plan will protect the user from copyright infringement. It is also incorrectly assumed that the purchaser may build more than one house from purchasing a restricted license for the specific purpose of building one house and not make copies, resell or build more than a single dwelling. Penalty for violating copyright may be very severe. The responsibles of the infringement are required to pay the designer’s actual damages (which may be substantial). The copyright law also allows the designer to recover statutory damages, which may be very high; also the infringer may be required to pay the UrbanHousePlans.com legal fee, often in excess of the damages.

Violation of a copyright involve the responsibility of all parties including the purchaser, the designer, the drafters, the engineers, the builders and the blue printer maker. Copyright protection is also applied to the reproducible plans (vellum) for the construction of a single house. To avoid any copyright infringement, if you wish to use the same house plan more than once, please contact UrbanHousePlans.com to obtain a release and a license for the additional usage.
